Full Time Carers
You will be required to provide evidence of your identity and your address.
A check will be carried out to see if you have any criminal convictions or cautions. These will not necessarily prevent you from working for ANA Nursing and you will be given full opportunity to explain the circumstances of any conviction or caution.
A check will also be undertaken to see if you appear on the Protection of Vulnerable Adults (POVA) list maintained by the Department of Health. This is a list of people deemed unsuitable to work with vulnerable adults.
Both of these checks are performed by the submission of an enhanced disclosure request to the Criminal Records Bureau (CRB).
We have policy statements on the CRB code of practice, the recruitment of ex-offenders, and the handling of disclosure information; copies of which are available on request.
You will be required to provide two references, one of whom must be from your current or most recent employer.
You will be asked to provide evidence that you have a right to work in the United Kingdom.
