Our Nurses and Carers
The minimum requirement we have for our frontline staff is that they are fully trained in manual handling, emergency first aid and food hygiene. All must attend a two week “Introduction to Care” course as part of their induction to our company and this involves a week of practical experience monitored by a senior member of our staff. Their identification and references are also gathered and verified, and an enhanced CRB check is carried out before they are taken on.
To ensure that their skills are constantly being updated, we actively encourage every member of our staff to study for their NVQ in Health and Social Care.
All our nurses are registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Council and are trained in a wide variety of duties.
